The New Year is right around the corner...

I haven't blogged much lately because there because we have been too busy developing the site. I know I have mentioned this before, but people with diabetes deserve a well polished support tool and not just some attempt to make money. We aren't going to be satisfied until our products and services are ready, that being said we are almost there!

We anticipate the launch of MyDC (www.MyDiabetesConcierge.com) in January 2012, just in time for your New Year's resolutions. Features like a 24/7 text message service manned by experts to answer any questions you might have, Rx Refill to manage your prescriptions and text you when they are ready, and automated text reminders will help you along your way. And our myDashboard provides an easy and intuitive way to set goals, manage and track your goals, and show your progress. Even share your progress wiht friends on Facebook and Twitter!

I apologize again to everyone for the delay, but it will be worth the wait. Cheers to you and the New Year empowered with My Diabetes Concierge!

Making Diabetes Music

In my personal time I spend a lot of time listening to and playing music. I love the way that music has the ability to capture our attention, change our mood and outlook, and inspire and motivate us in a way that is unmatched by many other mediums.

We want your experience with My Diabetes Concierge to be like listening to a song. Spend a few minutes getting your myDC fix and we want to leave you with that good feeling that your favorite song leaves you with for the rest of your day. Diabetes can be simple, can flow with your life, and can be easy with the right help.

We're here...making diabetes music everyday...come check us out! MyDiabetesConcierge.com

Good is simply not good enough

I want to send out a sincere thank you to everyone eagerly awaiting the unveiling of our new site and services here at My Diabetes Concierge. Truth is...we could have launched the site already but being the perfectionists that we are "good" is simply not good enough for our clients. We want our site to be the best. We will be launching the website a few months before the app goes live to begin to answer your calls for a revolution in diabetes care. Thanks again everyone and see you all soon! -Daniel

Paying Tribute to an Inspiration

Steve Jobs was a major inspiration behind our work here at My Diabetes Concierge. And with the news of his passing, we are reminded of the way he has inspired us to stick to our guns through trials and tribulations, keep our vision intact and follow our hearts unconditionally even when our position is unpopular. We are reminded of the importance of striving for excellence in all that we do, and providing our customers with the best product and services possible at a reasonable price.

Thank you to Steve Jobs for inspiring everything that we do here at My Diabetes Concierge, he was truly the Thomas Edison of our time and he will be missed by us all.

Problems with Healthcare

How much healthier would we be if we had someone there to help us at all times of the day or night? Someone who is trustworthy and can deliver accurate and current information? And not only that, someone that knows us personally, knows what makes us tick and what motivates us to want to be healthier...even when we don't want to be?

This is what we are trying to accomplish with myDC. The further we get into this project, the more products and companies and services we find that do a small part of what we are doing BUT for all the wrong reasons. Healthcare in this country and throughout the world will not get any better until it becomes patient focused and less focused on profitability. When I say things like this I inevitably get the comments that costs would skyrocket causing more chaos. But I dare you to look at the difference in organizations run by competent, well-informed people cogniscent of their impact on people's live and people who care about the individual. This is what we need, and this is exactly what we intend to give people with myDC.

FInishing Touches in Las Vegas

Arrived in Las Vegas for the last of what have been many trips back and forth from the east coast today. Meeting with the web designer and hopefully getting the finishing touches on what will be a live website in just a few short weeks. I greatly appreciate everyone on the team for their input and tireless work over the last year.

With the grand opening coming soon we will be looking for a few people to test drive the site and provide some feedback. Anyone interested in receiving a full concierge level membership for a month for free? Email us at support@mydiabetesconcierge.com to get on the list for full site free trials.

Very excited to get out there and benefit so many people across the world! Our latest submission came from Ireland, how cool is that? Moving along...

Introducing the MyDC CEO Blog!

If you are reading this you have found the new blog for mydiabetesconcierge.com's CEO, Daniel Davis. We are trying to revolutionize the way people think, act, and live with diabetes. Hopefully in the process we can save a few lives, help a few people prevent diabetes altogether, and support a few people dealing with diabetes.

If you're not familiar with us, please check out our site at www.mydiabetesconcierge.com. I think we have put together an excellent list of features and services for anyone facing diabetes either now or in the future. More importantly, everything can be personalized just for you, all are available 24/7 (diabetes doesn't do 9-5, why should we?) and the number of options you have are amazing (features for your computer, your phone, text messaging, all types of professionals).

I want to keep this site people-oriented by listening to the diabetes community and keeping things as affordable as we can. So comment away, throw out your opinions, impressions, and help us make mydiabetesconcierge.com your comprehensive diabetes support package!

Daniel
